Gary Jacobson was charged with the crime of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor. After trial by jury in the district court, Jacobson was found guilty and sentenced to imprisonment for a period of 120 days and fined $1,000. Jacobson then appealed to the superior court, which affirmed his district court conviction. The instant appeal has been brought from a superior courts affirmance.
