Description
From the partial transcript it appears: On May 7, 1963, at about 7 a. m., the plaintiff, while riding his motorcycle on a public highway, struck a low-hanging or sagging telephone pole guy wire. The guy wire was attached to a transmission pole on one side of the road and to a stub pole on the opposite side of the highway. Sometime before the accident the stub pole had fallen causing the guy wire to sag across the roadway. The poles and the guy wire were owned by the defendant, Wisconsin Telephone Company, and another public utility no longer a party to the action.
